*WARNING: this video contains an assault, racism, violent behavior. It may be triggering for some* DC Community & Friends of Meeps, this is tough and personal but I need your help. I am the Asian-American Woman sole-proprietor of this shop. This past Friday at 5:41pm, this neighborhood Man entered my shop to “drop off a flyer for a pop-up.” (I did not take a flyer) After I identified him as a repeat anti-masker who does not respect shop rules (among other disrespectful/racist/misogynistic incidents) I requested he leave the shop and quickly escorted him to the door. He lingered, suddenly turning violent and racist calling me “Asian Terrorist”, some ugly racist things about my appearance, then he spat on me as he rode off on his bicycle. Within 90secs while in my own shop, he did all he could to victimize me with hate speech, close in on my personal space, and make me feel terrorized. I felt/feel he was just short of causing me physical harm. Thankfully he was aware of the other customer in the shop who shot this video. Only physical contact was his saliva hitting my neck/upper chest. You cannot identify his face in this video but trust that I know it.
