It was such a joy to capture this collection with the help of my amazing intern .thecreative. Also these kiddos were adorable & such troopers as we ran around snapping photos of their busy little feet 🙃

Starting off this busy week praying that parking is kind this morning 😬 as I head into the center of fhe city to capture some corporate headshots.

These two are the real deal. One of the most incredibly impactful things I think all engaged couples should do before their wedding arrives is invest in some sort of premarital counseling.

These two put in the hard work & took the same 8-9 week Preparing for Marriage class hosted by , which is the very same course me & my husband took, and my sister & her husband before us.

Those 8-9 weeks dig so incredibly deep & foster a safe place to have the hard but necessary conversations about marriage .. long before you share the same last name.

And since I’ve experienced first hand the fruitfulness from the seeds that were sown into our marriage from that course, I know Eunice & Michael are truly the real deal & their marriage will be that much stronger for it.

If you are engaged I encourage you to find marriage mentors, go to counseling before you are married (two imperfect people do not make one perfect marriage), go to counseling once in marriage , keep learning each other & keep learning yourself.

Whatever it looks like for you to seek wise counsel, pursue that for your marriage, for your future spouse, for your family. The same way you invest in education to further your career, invest in the things that will grow your marriage.

Eunice & Michael, thank you for spending such a meaningful afternoon with me, all while allowing me to capture your portraits. You’re wedding can’t come quickly enough!

This guy had me crying some proud big sis tears today 🥲
thecreative started his internship with me only 3 short weeks ago (He started with this shoot in PA) & it’s been a wild journey ever since!

Watching him grow & work so hard has me feeling like a proud big sister each day we work together. 🙌 Watch out world, Josh is doing some big things. This guy is dedicated, talented, teachable & such a blessing to do life with. It’s so sweet to watch him grow in this craft we both are so passionate about.

Ps . Josh was one of the high school students at our church when was on staff as the youth pastor as few years ago. So he was already a dear friend & even calls me Ate (meaning big sis in Tagalog).

I couldn’t have asked for a better intern this season & I’m praising the Lord with you at ever turn, Josh 🙌
