Shamera came in with a business to launch, a corporate job to keep, children and grandchildren to raise — and somewhere in the middle of all of it, she had lost sight of herself.

"I was losing the sight of making time for myself."

But the universe had a different plan.

The business opportunities didn't fall through. They just got redirected.
And instead of building the business first — she found a space to build herself first.

"I'm appreciative for the time I'm being able to spend here in the Grounded Lounge to build myself before building the business."

What shifted inside the Lounge wasn't a strategy or a system.
It was a mirror.

A coaching circle where the whole group reflected back what they received from her — and she finally got to see herself the way others did.

Part 2 coming soon. 🤍

Anxiety and discernment can feel remarkably similar from the inside.

Both show up as urgency. Both generate a sense of "I need to move on this now."

But they are pointing in completely different directions.

Anxiety is the nervous system responding to threat. It contracts. It rushes. It says: decide now, move now, eliminate the discomfort.

Discernment is the spirit receiving clarity. It expands. It arrives quietly. It doesn't rush toward resolution — it moves toward alignment.

The practical difference shows up in your body.

Anxiety feels like being pushed from behind.

Discernment feels like something clicking into place.

Learning to tell them apart before you make your next major decision — that's divine alignment in practice.

"Not everything that is faced can be changed,
but nothing can be changed until it is faced."
— James Baldwin

Baldwin was writing about personal transformation.

But he was also writing about every leader who has been moving fast enough to avoid sitting with what is actually true.

The business that is growing but doesn't feel aligned.

The decision that keeps getting deferred because the honest answer is inconvenient.

The spiritual knowing that keeps surfacing — and keeps getting overridden by urgency.

Divine alignment begins with facing what is real.

Not what is comfortable. Not what fits the strategy.

What is actually true.

This week at Indigo Unbound we're going into what it means to hear God — your higher power, your inner wisdom — in the context of actual business decisions.

Not as performance. As practice. 🤍
