Hi everyone, We talked about AWS providing free training and certification to people in Sub-Saharan Africa and we gave a list of countries (Inclusive is Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Angola, Benin etc (check out our previous post to see the list of countries)).
Some people successfully registered but we don't know yet if they requested for their vouchers.
However, some got back to us with a good news that they've received their vouchers already which means instead of paying a $100 for the exams, they will be taking the AWS certification for free. 🤗AMAZIING! right?😍

People have been reaching out to GNET concerning the free training we provide, and they have started their IT journey already. Now to those who keep saying I will, I will and yet do nothing, should know time waits for no body. Like the former CEO and Chairwoman of IBM Mrs GINNI ROMETTY said " Growth and comfort do not coexist". Get out of your comfort zone and start working towards a bright future.

Many people in Africa especially girls are still less knowledgeable about the IT field. They are less oriented and as such not sure if they would want to pursue a career path in IT. GNET is offering an opportunity not only to the girls but to everyone. Like Marissa Mayer said, "there aren't enough woman in tech". The time is NOW!
Find someone who is on a career path you admire and spend time with them on a regular basis😊
