“If you don’t have fear of the Lord, you’re going to fear everything else. If you fear the Lord, you will fear nothing else.”

BE FEARLESS

Your life and story left a Giant wave of people that have turned to God in their times of trouble and trusted in him that He will pull them through.

12 years ago today, Adam Brown was doing what he loved, fighting beside his brothers to rid this world of evil. Adam was a warrior, in every sense of the word. The adversity and challenges that Adam faced, just to get into the military, would have stopped the vast majority of people in their tracks. Not Adam.

Adam accepted the challenges that life threw at him and faced them head on. From getting into the Navy, earning his Trident, becoming a sniper and eventually a member of the most elite unit on the planet, Adam never backed down from a challenge. He truly was FEARLESS.

If you have not read FEARLESS, I highly recommend doing so. It is a book about Adam’s life, written from his teammates’ perspective. It is mandatory reading at Dynamis and I urge all of you to read it.

This was one of Adam’s favorite quotes and I think of it often...

“Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and preserved body, but rather to skid in broad side thoroughly used up totally worn out and loudly proclaiming wow, what a ride.”

Rest easy brother.

Love, brotherhood, and duty.

Chris reminds us today that there is something bigger to fight for. There is purpose far greater in the world that unites us all.

The hope and vision we have for a brighter future by doing what is right. By stepping up when we are called to be the shield.

Our prayers are with U.S. Deputy Marshall Chris Hill’s family, friends and teammates today.

Today we HONOR Norman Clark.

Norman Clark was a 20 year Army Veteran of both the Korea and Vietnam wars. He passed away on December 18, 2016. This workout was designed by his son, Coach Mikkel Clark of CrossFit Novato (Novato, CA), to commemorate the memory of his father. Mikkel said “I knew that I needed to do something positive to contribute to the world in his honor and most importantly, help serve a community that he was a part of.”

The HONOR Workout is a 30 minute workout. The 30 minutes represents the 30 days that Norman Clark was MIA, after being shot down in his helicopter over the jungles of Vietnam.

Today we HONOR Gregory Rahoi

On December 6, 2006, Supervisory Special Agent Gregory J. Rahoi was accidentally shot and fatally wounded at Fort A.P. Hill in Caroline County, Virginia during a live-fire tactical training exercise designed to prepare FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) personnel for their deployments to Iraq. Supervisory Special Agent Rahoi was a member of the HRT for six years, during which he served three tours in Iraq. Prior to joining the FBI in 1997, he worked as a firefighter, paramedic, and police officer in Wisconsin. He was posthumously awarded the FBI Medal of Valor for acts of heroism during his final Iraq tour, and his family was presented with the FBI Memorial Star.

The Medal of Valor and the Memorial Star are two of the FBI’s highest honors. The FBI Medal of Valor is presented in recognition of an exceptional act of heroism or voluntary risk of personal safety and life, and this act must have occurred in the direct line of duty or within the scope of FBI employment and in the face of criminal adversaries. The FBI Memorial Star is presented to a surviving relative where death has occurred in the line of duty.
