Find Outer Peace

I’m supposed to be watching a zoom training about running data reports for but my ADHD starts kicking in the second a PowerPoint pops up. Give me a set of slides to study and I can usually figure it out on my own. Can you tell I went to law school, not business school? 🤣 Truth told, I wasn’t that great at law school learning either, but my husband was, so we get a ton of mail from Georgetown assuming at least one of us is making a meaningful contribution to society. Anyway...I’ll tell you more about another time, but I truly love what I do even if I wish some parts of it would vanish into thin air. Right before I headed out of town last weekend I got to take a class in our garage, hence the amazing beanie ( 4 life!) with my equally amazing outfit. She’s peeking out in the first pic (hi cutie!) and is one of my fav people in the world. In a year of pivots, hosting bike classes in a freezing cold open garage is a huge ask and she and and SO MANY others have gone above and beyond. 🥰 Okay, back to learning about Key Performance Indicators so that there’s a studio to teach in when we’re allowed back inside. 🤪 Happy Tuesday!

There was a slight chill in the air last night so I got to wear a sweater to dinner. Other than the summer and the few years lived in DC (the best times) I’ve never lived close enough to family to have regular family dinners. Any meal we eat during a 48 hour visit is going to be fraught because, to quote my grandmother, “proximity breeds contempt.” I’m loving these dinners with my parents even though my mom always reminds my girls that they have soda to finish. 🤬😂🥰 Doesn’t she look pretty?
