Stop the “forced networking” awkwardness!!
We’ve all been there: you walk into a workshop group where the energy is flat, or a “networking hour” that feels more like a chore than a connection. When group dynamics are left to chance, the experience usually stays surface-level.
At Storycraft Lab, we believe that community doesn’t happen by accident; it happens by design. Our Group Matching feature uses Experience Profile™ data to intentionally shape how people come together. It aligns team pairings, mentorship moments, and workshop flows. 🧠
Instead of random assignments, we use smart grouping to ensure:
1. Optimal Chemistry: Pairing people based on how they learn and lead (from Creators to Adaptors) to ensure every hackathon or buddy system actually thrives. 🛠️
2. Curated Mentoring: Moving past “small talk” into high-value, data-driven connections that actually move the needle. 🤝
3. Personalized Relevancy: Empowering roundtables and forums where every participant feels like the discussion was built specifically for them. 🗣️
By connecting the right people in the right way, we ensure the outcomes are as
impactful as the intentions. 🗺️

Storycraft Lab was onsite at the second Google Xi Days in Atlanta last week 👋
Xi Days 2026 was an intimate, two-day living workshop for Google’s experience institute (Xi), an interdisciplinary coalition of artists, scientists, academics, technologists, designers of every kind, philosophers, poets, writers, filmmakers, and more. They are builders of ideas and shapers of culture, drawn together by a shared mission:
To humanize corporate life and to continuously recenter people as the heart of innovation and the workplace.
We were there supporting the Google Xi team, helping design and facilitate moments that go beyond content to inspire imagination and action through storytelling and research.

✨ This week’s Storycraft CoLABoratory explored The Physics of Belonging: the invisible forces that shape whether people feel safe, engaged, and willing to contribute.
Hosted by special guest Shannon C. Rose, of SCG Creative Solutions, we grounded the session in lived experience, inviting participants to reflect on: when they first felt a true sense of belonging, when they first felt separate or on the outside, and how their bodies and behaviors responded.
From there, we unpacked three systems that make belonging possible:
⚖️ nervous system stability
🔲 clear energetic boundaries
🌐 coherent relational fields
CoLAB participants shared powerful reflections during the Story-Sharing, including:
“Belonging has always been a struggle for me, but I realized it’s an internal experience first. When I performed, wrote poetry, or danced, that’s when I truly felt safe and seen. It wasn’t about other people noticing me at first; it was about creating my own emotional and psychological safety, and that opened me up to connect with others more fully.”
Participants left the session with new perspectives on how personal awareness, energy, and group dynamics interact to make belonging feel real and actionable.
