The season of thoughtful giving is here. 💛 This December, DC Squared is transforming our 11th annual Procrastinator’s Holiday Market into It’s a Wonderful Ward, a full month of joyful, local celebrations across Ward 5.

Start with Small Business Saturday on Nov 29 and Giving Tuesday on Dec 2, then join us at the Winter Festival and Tree Sale in partnership with the U.S. National Arboretum🌲 on Dec 6 and at Kraken Kourts & Skates on Dec 20 for our expanded Procrastinator’s Holiday Market. Plus, RIAMS and UBRMS will host workshops, pop-up markets, swaps, and free activities all month long. 🎁

With many families and small businesses navigating economic uncertainty, DC² is creating accessible, affordable opportunities to celebrate, support local entrepreneurs, and stay connected.

DC Squared recently joined a powerful session hosted by Well Point focused on connecting resources directly to communities + shaping narratives that influence how investors fund projects and decision makers draft policies. Conversations like these guide our work at DC Squared as we support small businesses, strengthen Ward 5 corridors, and ensure community voices shape local investment.

The closeout for Woodridge Market takes place on Saturday, September 27 between 12-3p at 1803 Rhode Island Ave NE! The Nourish & Flourish block party will feature local talent, familiar vendors and cooking demos
