The Association holds two general membership meetings each year, and a number of specialized roundtables, workshops or conferences for specific program areas of high interest. Thank you for everyone who made ASTSWMO’s 50th Anniversary celebration at the Annual Meeting in Washington, DC!
Many great connections were made with First Time Attendees, Alumni, and ASTSWMO partners like ReMA (Recycled Materials Association), U.S. EPA Mid-Atlantic Region and New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC)
We also had a very fun and connecting Reception Ceremony that LNJ Studio and her team captured beautifully! 📸

What a conference!! The Tanks Subcommittee successfully coordinated the 2023 ASTSWMO Tanks Workshop in beautiful Tacoma, Washington with a focus on newer UST State/Territorial Staff. Almost half of the 165 attendees were first-time ASTSWMO meeting attendees, and one attendee had only started their position THIS MONTH!
Thank you to everyone who made this workshop possible! There was a lot of great discussion and innovative ideas for additional ASTSWMO programming, so stay tuned!
