"Why does my blood pressure monitor show different readings every time?"

It's one of the most common questions about home blood pressure monitoring. And we answer it in this video.

The truth is that your blood pressure isn't fixed. It changes throughout the day based on your activity level, stress, emotions, body position, and even your breathing.

That's why slightly different readings are completely normal and don't necessarily mean there's anything wrong with your monitor.

For the most accurate picture of your blood pressure, take several measurements under similar conditions and look at the average rather than focusing on a single reading.
