The animation-meets-live-action film was a smash hit in the 1980s and is still a fan favorite nearly 40 years later.

This rare 1/1 cel with matching production drawings is headed to a clients house! 🚗😊

The beautiful piece comes from the classic animated film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and features Cindy Lou Who. The drawing was created jn 1966 at the time of the film’s original release, and the cel was painted in 1996 to accompany it.

The work offers a glimpse into the work of the animation process, as you can the progression from drawing to cel 👀
