ElJay Services LLC (www.eljayservices.com) is always seeking great talents who can bring a greater value to our team. We are looking for a Part-Time member to help facilitate moves in the DMV area.
The company has been full-time for its first year, and provides multiple jobs per week. Our main focus will be two to four man moves. Loading, unloading, and properly packing items for customers.
Reliable personal transportation is REQUIRED. We do drive to the load and unload locations. Our jobs can range from 2 hours to 8 hours, paying $15 per hour with a two hour minimum. You will always walk away with $30, including gas stipend if driving more than 15 miles. We are a small but highly experienced team looking for an assistance that is in shape and experienced in the moving industry.

SUMMARY:
Assists in loading furniture into van/truck and unloading furniture by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly.
• Wraps furniture with blankets to prevent damage.
• Wraps dishes and fragile items in packing paper.
• Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
• Delivers and stacks shipment on customer’s premises.
• Must have knowledge of furniture and equipment handling industry-accepted procedures.
• Must wear uniforms acceptable to ElJay Services.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be 18 years of age.
Reliable Transportation
At least 6 months of moving experience
