Mayor Muriel Bowser has announced that the new Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health, located on the St. Elizabeths East campus, will officially open on April 15, 2025. This new state-of-the-art hospital is part of the District’s collaboration with Universal Health Services (UHS) to create a comprehensive, integrated health care system serving communities East of the River and beyond.
