Meet Ringo & Hooper — two almost 5-year-old Lab boys who are ready for their next chapter. They’re sweet, playful, hike-loving, creek-jumping, couch snuggling gentlemen currently in Mississippi and hoping to arrive in PA on June 19.
They’d love to stay together, but they can be adopted individually. Both are smart, affectionate, crate trained, great with kids, and good with dogs. Cats… they prefer to admire from a distance while doing a little chase.
💘 Want to foster-to-adopt? Our FTA program lets you foster, fall in love, and make it official.
📲 Visit their blogs to learn more, explore our process and coverage area, and apply to adopt on our website. ✨ If Ringo and Hooper find their home before you’re approved, don’t worry—more amazing Labs are always joining our rescue family.
❤️ Not ready to adopt? You can still be part of their journey. Share their story. Spread their light. Help us write their happiest chapter yet.

🐾 Dogs are waiting, and our foster homes are at capacity.
Former Brookline adopters — we need you! Your dog got their second chance because someone said “yes” at the exact moment they needed it. Now you can be that moment for another dog.
Fostering turns fear into safety, uncertainty into love, and “no options left” into a new beginning. It’s not forever, but it is life changing.
If you can open your home for even a few weeks, you can save a life. Please consider paying it forward. The need is real, and it’s urgent.

🌟 Foster Today. Save a Life Tonight.
We’re being overwhelmed with requests to help more dogs every single day.
🚨 As we race against the clock, we urgently need foster homes to be the bridge between a dog’s past and their forever future. Every hour a dog waits, their future hangs in the balance. If you can open your heart and share your couch, you become the reason love finds its way.
Fostering doesn’t require perfection—just a safe space, patience, and a whole lot of heart.
You provide the lifeline. We provide the support. Together, we turn last chances into new beginnings. 🐾
Live within our coverage area? We’d love to welcome you as a foster home. And don’t let vacation plans hold you back—we can help arrange temporary placement when needed so you can still make a lifesaving impact.

Wilson, a handsome, 4-year-old fox red Lab, is still looking for his forever family. Wilson is deeply loved by his retired dad, who is moving to an apartment and wants Wilson to have a home with a yard and the opportunity to live a full, active life.
Wilson is smart, attentive, eager to please, and thrives on routine.
Although Wilson had a Fibrocartilaginous Embolism (FCE) in March 2023, he regained full use of his hindquarters, and the only residual effect is a slight "swing" of his left hind leg when he's running.
He CAN do normal stairs in a multi-level home and loves to play frisbee fetch (not jumping up to catch it). He can go for walks, may enjoy swimming (unknown at this time), and loves to lie in the sun and watch the world go by. When he’s not chasing discs, he’s sunbathing, chewing sticks, or cuddling with his favorite person. After a good day of activity, he’s happy to settle in.
He enjoys playdates with his Bernese “cousin” and does well with other dogs at boarding. He hasn’t lived with kids but is gentle and appropriate when he sees them. Like many young Labs, he may accidentally knock over small children or anyone unsteady on their feet.
He takes daily Apoquel for allergies and eats Open Farm Salmon & Ancient Grains. He rides calmly in the car and is an easy, well-mannered companion at home and at the vet.
📲 Visit his blog to learn more, explore our process and coverage area, and apply to adopt on our website. ✨ If Wilson finds his home before you’re approved, don’t worry—more amazing Labs are always joining our rescue family.
❤️ Not ready to adopt? You can still be part of Wilson’s journey. Share his story. Spread his light. Help us write his happiest chapter yet.
