For over 30 years KMOS-TV has served central Missouri with high quality, award-winning programs for all ages. The station, licensed to the University of Central Missouri, is powered by a staff comprised of professionals and university students working in all facets of the operation. From production of our regional programming to editing the program guide and running master control, students are involved in learning and in giving to the central Missouri community.

"Independent Lens: Assembly" follows an artist blending visual art, performance, and AI in an exhibition honoring Black and q***r culture. Premieres on KMOS 6.1 June 22 at 9 p.m.

"Under the Trans Umbrella: Trans Identities in Missouri" focuses on the experience of transgender people in the state of Missouri, and was produced by students at KMOS. Stream on the PBS app.
