Being Puerto Rican and not fluent speaking Spanish, I always felt insecure and being around people that did speak Spanish was even worse. I need to get out of my head and learn to feel confident to speak the language of my beautiful Island. But let me be perfectly clear. Not speaking Spanish doesn’t make me any “less” Puerto Rican! Though there are Puerto Ricans that feel differently, but that’s not my problem, it’s theirs! Today is my first day with this app and I will practice every day to get better and better! 🇵🇷
