Please join Chief Roy Borges and Town Manager Brian Sullivan in welcoming the newest member of the Warren Police Department, Probationary Patrolman Robert Reynoso!
Ptlm. Reynoso recently completed the rigorous training program at the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy (RIMPTA) and officially joins our department as he begins his law enforcement career serving the Town of Warren.
We congratulate Ptlm. Reynoso on this accomplishment and wish him success as he begins field training and starts serving our community.

This May, the Warren Police Department is proud to participate in a statewide initiative honoring Jamestown Police Officer Ryan Bourque, who was tragically killed by an impaired driver on May 23, 2016.
Throughout the month, Warren Police cruisers will display memorial ribbon decals in remembrance of Officer Bourque and all victims of impaired driving. Nearly ten years later, Officer Bourque’s service and sacrifice continue to be remembered throughout Rhode Island’s law enforcement community.
The Warren Police Department stands alongside our brothers and sisters at the Jamestown RI Police Department in honoring Officer Bourque’s legacy while continuing to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. We encourage everyone to make responsible choices—plan ahead, designate a sober driver, use a rideshare, or arrange for a safe ride home.

🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY / CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚧
The Warren Police Department would like to remind residents and motorists that RIDOT’s ongoing Main Street (Route 114) pavement improvement project remains underway.
Construction activities are taking place along Main Street from Wheaton Street to the Bristol town line, and motorists should expect lane shifts, alternating traffic patterns, delays, and occasional detours as work continues.
Work may include roadway improvements, drainage upgrades, sidewalk reconstruction, and related infrastructure improvements.
Please use caution while traveling through the area, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted signage and directions from traffic control personnel.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements continue throughout our community. Please continue to follow the Warren Police Department page for future traffic updates and advisories.
