Common items like water wings, inflatable rings, and pool noodles are toys - not life saving equipment. They can deflate, slip off, or give a false sense of security. Only Coast Guard approved life jackets are considered real flotation devices.

Tricare Briefing Event

Who: All uniformed service members and their spouses stationed in the Detroit area, and any personnel that are Tricare sponsors/beneficiaries.

What: Tricare representative informational briefing and Q&A.

When and Where: The event will be held on post the week of April 20th. Specific details will be provided through official internal channels.

Why: Ensure Soldiers, spouses, and any Tricare beneficiaries receive critical information on the processes and procedures that are unique to Tricare prime remote. The brief will be informational and provide recourses to assist Tricare sponsors/beneficiaries with issues they may have with Tricare in the Detroit area. Tricare representatives will receive and answer a limited amount of questions any beneficiaries might have.

The event is in person and virtual. People can register for the online presentation ahead of time if they can not make it in person. Registration information has been sent out through official channels.
