Marauders win their season opener at home against Warren Woods Tower 12-5 on a frigid evening.

Warren Mott Marauders Varsity Trounce Warren Woods-Tower Varsity Titans

Warren Mott Marauders Varsity won big over Warren Woods-Tower Varsity Titans 12-5 on Tuesday at Warren Mott High School.

Warren Mott Marauders Varsity got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Brandon Fletcher was struck by a pitch, Blake Wright walked, and Ryan Evangelista singled to left field, each scoring one run.

Alex Dunn earned the win for Warren Mott Marauders Varsity. The pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking one. Landon Chamberlain took the loss for Warren Woods-Tower Varsity Titan. The starter went three innings, giving up three runs on one hit, striking out eight and walking three. Rylan Anolick and Lucas Wypiszewski each appeared in relief for Warren Mott Marauders Varsity.

Brandon Fletcher and Anthony Carter were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Warren Mott Marauders Varsity. Lucas Wypiszewski went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Warren Mott Marauders Varsity in hits. Warren Mott Marauders Varsity had patience at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game. Rylan Anolick and Blake Wright led the team with two walks each. Alex Dunn and Brandon Fletcher each stole multiple bases for Warren Mott Marauders Varsity.
