It was such an honor for K102 and Chris Carr & Company to be able to help Jason Aldean connect with police officers from Minnesota and Wisconsin so that they could join us on Saturday night at Treasure Island Resort & Casino. It’s the least we could do to say “thank you” for everything they do for us and our communities! We were even able to get many of them backstage to meet Jason, including the family members and fellow officers of several that were lost in the line of duty this year. In this way, we honored the lives of Pope County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Owen, Chetek police officer Emily Breidenbach, and Cameron officer Hunter Scheel. We also welcomed officers nominated through our Heros on Reels and Props for Cops promotions. Jason took photos with them, signed autographs for them, and chatted with them before his show started. He also thanked them on stage during the show (you can see that video on our profile, too). It was a great show and it is so awesome to have an artist that cares so much about our small towns, our first responders, and our communities!
