RWU Equestrian

The Roger Williams Equestrian Team swept at Becker this weekend, placing 3rd out of 11. Hayley Wilkinson '19 won high point rider of the day with TWO first place rides in Open Flat and Intermediate Fences! Madison Curtin '19 claimed reserve high point rider, winning the quiz-off to break a three-way tie.

We're back! Roger Williams Equestrian Team finished in 4th place at our second show of the season with some fabulous rides and many berths to regionals.

First place ribbons were won by Senior Taylor Pennell in Adv. WTC, Senior Alexandra Aksterowicz in Novice Flat, Junior Captain Jamie Craig in Novice Flat, and Sophomore Nikki Speranzo in Novice Fences.

Senior Captain Stephanie Main and Junior Phoebe Hare both pointed out of Intermediate Fences and into Open Fences, qualifying for regionals in the spring. Joining them will be Senior Alexandra Aksterowicz and Sophomore Marielle Borzello, who pointed into Intermediate Flat and Intermediate Fences, respectively.

This weekend, Roger Williams Equestrian took home 5th place at their last show of the season! Congratulations to Lindsey Pinkerton '17 and Hope Reiner '19 for pointing into intermediate flat and beginner walk-trot-canter, respectively, and earning their berths to regionals in the spring!
Last weekend, RWUET took home third place at the Rhode Island College show where Sabrina Polin '17 also qualified for regionals, pointing into novice.
