Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. (Semisonic’s wise words, not mine)

On Friday, June 26, one chapter of Hope & Main closed, and another began. Within the span of an hour, we gently closed our doors at our Downtown Makers Marketplace at 100 Westminster Street and received our certificate of occupancy at Hope & Main West End Kitchens at 945 Westminster Street.

The universe seemed to orchestrate a moment no one could have planned.

For all of you who supported the Marketplace, worked there, shopped there, catered with us, or simply believed in what we were trying to build, thank you. You made that place matter.

Endings— as much as I’m not a fan— have a purpose. They make room the next.
