Home Inspections are important and do NOT let them tell you otherwise! Throughout the week, I perform Home Inspections for the incredible "JW Inspection Services of Michigan." I am certified in MI as a Contractor for JW.

Today I uncovered an improper installation that can contribute to major issues down the road.

The Electrical Service Enterance Cable (entering through the roof) should be installed properly inside a Mast and Mast Head to prevent environmental damage, leaks and sharp edges!

This can become a safety hazard and a thorough home inspection caught it. Why?, because it's not so obvious.

Look at the Pics, you will see a sun dried/cracked cable covering and sharp edges that can eventually lead to a hazardous situation. Even old dried up tape that obviously didn't help.

This a job for a Licenced Electrician to repair! No not me, but we can point you in the right direction!
