FF Michael R. Davidson served this city for fifteen years before making the ultimate sacrifice last night at a five-alarm fire in Harlem. Our hearts break for his wife, his four children and the firefighters of Engine 69. Rest in peace, brother.

This tragedy should remind us that we need to have all fire equipment inspected for both residential homes and commercial buildings.
