Wallingford Chorus

and various fundraising activities such as raffles, wine
tastings, special events, donations and program ads. We are active members of the Association of Connecticut Choruses and American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The chorus performs two concerts a year, one in December and one in May. In recent years, the members have progressed from singing light repertoires to more complex pieces including selections of multi-cultural works in a number of languages. Past choral accomplishments include works from the major repertoire such as Mozart Requiem, Fauré Requiem, Vivaldi Magnificat, opera choruses and songs of Broadway and Cinema. Membership

The only prerequisites for membership in the chorus are a love of music, a commitment to weekly rehearsals and a spirit of camaraderie. Most chorus members live in Wallingford and the greater Wallingford area, but some travel further distances to participate. Our members range in age from young adult through senior citizens.
