And when it comes to attendance? We go to EXTREMES to get our students here! Rain, shine, traffic, phone calls, wake-up knocks, encouragement, tough love, second chances — whatever it takes because our students are worth it. 🚍⛈️📞🗣️

Today was about growth 🌳, resilience 💪, accountability 👏, and achievement 💙🎓💛
Our students worked hard to overcome obstacles, stay focused 👀, and keep pushing forward — even on the tough days.
Today, we celebrated High School Graduates🎓earning their Diplomas, student growth 📉📚📈, and the power of self-discipline, consistency, and positive choices ⭐!
From the Pledge 🇺🇸 and Invocation 🙏 to diploma presentations 🎉📸 and encouragement for the future 💙⭐️💛, the message remained the same: mistakes do not define the future. These students proved they can rise ⬆️, grow 🌟, and succeed 💯👏!
We are proud of every student who kept showing up, putting in the work 🛠️, and finishing strong!

From the fencerow to the table and eventually to happy bellies! 🫐☀️🍨
Sgt. Hebert and Ms. Albin showed students how to make a modern version of Blackberry Cobbler using the blackberries and dewberries students have been picking for the last couple of months right from our very own fencerow!
The students got the full experience—>growing—> harvesting—>cleaning—> cooking—>and finally enjoying the sweet reward of their hard work. ⏲️🌱🫐
Some berries may have disappeared during the picking process 😄, but there was still plenty left for cobbler, ice cream, whip topping, and even seconds for all!
It was a sweet little taste of summertime and a reminder that learning can happen in the garden, the kitchen, and around the table together. 💙☀️💛
We are officially counting down to summer break! 🎉
Today our students had the opportunity to learn from SFC Dillon J. Stewart and SSG Danielle Bonnet with the Louisiana National Guard 🇺🇸🪖
They shared valuable information about careers 💼, education opportunities 🎓, job skills 🛠️, contracts 📄, boot camp 🏃♂️, and the difference between combat and non-combat roles. Our students were able to see that the military can be a positive option and pathway toward future success for some individuals ⭐👏
We are thankful for those who serve ❤️🤍💙 and grateful they took the time to invest in our students and their futures! 💚 🇺🇸 🖤
