North Reading Transcript

The North Reading Community Impact Team’s Youth Substance Use Prevention Coalition recently honored two outstanding community partners whose dedication has strengthened local efforts to prevent youth substance use and promote student wellness.

The Coalition presented its Wellness Champion Award to Dr. Cathy O’Connell in recognition of her years of leadership and commitment to student well-being during her tenure as Middle School Principal. Dr. O’Connell was recognized prior to her departure from the district for her unwavering support of prevention and mental health initiatives.
