Extremely LOW LATENCY online lessons!

Right now lessons over Zoom or Skype or Google Meets or Facetime or any other "off the shelf" conferencing solution work "okay"... BUT they all have way too much latency (delay) for teacher and student to perform together. And that leaves a certain hole in a music education.

Whether it's performing duet arrangements, or "jamming" or even just playing together in unison... none of it has been possible up until now.

but with my NEW LOW LATENCY AUDIO SERVER running the audio of our lessons we will soon be able to have extremely low latency within 500 miles of my server here in Wakefield.

We have been doing some testing and are looking forward to full implementation sometime soon.

We've been doing a combination of zoom, outdoor open-air, and indoor social distanced lessons. Whatever the student is most comfortable with.

Lately the outdoors is threatening to get chilly. But have no fear... A big outdoor heater has been ordered and is on the way to keep us toasty through the fall.

So come play with me! Virtual, outdoors or inside (safely across the room) we are on fire!

EDIT: We're now deep into January and I still am holding outdoor lessons for those who are uncomfortable indoors or on Zoom.

I'm not gonna say it's always toasty, but the heater is making it work even in winter!
