This last week or so, we have lost 2 of the main components of the Greatest Latin American Music Institution “El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico”, AKA “La Universidad De La Salsa” (“The University Of Salsa”). Band Leader and Maestro “Rafael Ithier” and 1/3rd lead singer “Papo Rosario” -lovenly nicknamed “El Carbonerito” (Little Coal Boy).

The Band will go on as it’s done the past since 1962. A long line a great singers have come and gone. The ones from my Era, Papo (who just passed on yesterday), Charlie Aponte (who retired) and Jerry Rivas who still goes on with the band were and still are my guys.

Papo had one great hit, “El Carbonerito” hence his nickname. A great hit that no one from our time has ever forgotten. He has been missed already for a while after retiring not long ago but will now be missed even more.

Papo, as many of the singers who have come through this institution never had a scandal, was known as a kind and generous person snd always ready to stop and talk to fans any where in the world.

Yes! The world! “El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico” broke global barriers by performing not only all over the US and Latin America but also (and sometimes to record breaking crowds) in Asia, Eroupe, Africa and Australia where they are still well known.

Big tax Debt Settling Companies claim they spoke to IRS executives recently and have been reassured that “IRS is terminating another 20,000 workers”🤔

“Currently IRS is owed over $700 Billion by tax payers”. -This is probably true.

“IRS is using technology go after hard agaist everyone”. -This is half true.

I follow IRS insiders who although say “tech will be used to come after small debts” they are “still hiring personnel to go after big debt”.

Many big business CPAs say:
-“IRS is dragging their feet in going after big business”.

Did you know that the IRS generally has 10 years from the date a tax is assessed to collect it. However, certain actions can pause or extend this, giving the IRS more time to collect.
