Don't give up on your goals.

Don't give up on your dreams.

Don't give up on your calling.

If God gave it to you, keep pursuing it.

For a long time, I thought I was behind.

At 47, I got divorced and started over.

I had just started my first business, which was both scary and exciting, but I still hadn't accomplished my biggest dream of publishing a book.

I felt late.
I felt like I should have been further along.
I felt like everyone else had figured it out before me.

Then a year later, I almost died.

And while I was recovering, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, I felt even more behind. Like life had pressed pause on me while everyone else kept moving.

But here’s what I see now:

I wasn’t behind. I was learning. I was developing.

I was becoming.

At 49, while I was still healing, I published my first book.

Not because my life was perfectly in place. But because I stopped waiting to “catch up” and started moving forward anyway.

Becoming doesn’t look like a straight line.

It looks like rebuilding.
It looks like healing.
It looks like courage in the middle of uncertainty.

If you feel behind right now… you’re not.

You may just be in the middle of becoming.
