Sanitation Technician

Total Placement is looking for an experienced Sanitation Technician to join a local manufacturing company. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, facility structures, and external sanitation areas.

Responsibilities:
• Clean/sanitize production equipment and structural areas.
• Perform equipment disassembly & reassembly as part of sanitation processes.
• Operate advanced sanitation systems and tools.
• Validate and document sanitation effectiveness.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and proper sanitation sequencing.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and correct sanitation-related issues.
• Support, guide, and assist other sanitation technicians as needed.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in an industrial or food manufacturing sanitation role.
• Strong technical knowledge of sanitation processes and equipment.
• Comfortable leading by example and supporting team members.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.
