Time to head home.

As the Hartselle team lined up to get their tickets, I snapped one last picture. They’re heroes of the faith—but they’d probably say they’re just doing what they’re supposed to do.

This past week, they sacrificed so much sweat, sleep, and a great deal of energy, and they did it all with joy.

What an incredible team, and such faithful Christians. It was truly a joy to work with them, and I’m grateful I got to serve alongside them.

Goodbye for now, until we meet again. And if we don’t see each other again here, we will see each other in heaven.

What an incredible day we had. We helped 67 people with medicines and 71 people with glasses. We can't stop expressing our thanks to all our supporters and people who donated to make this trip possible.

Our team is in good spirits, and I know everyone is excited to keep going. Our Salvadorian brethren keep working so hard too and their excitement is contagious.

In a few day we have shared laughs, hugs, long hours of work, and created deep bonds with total strangers that we don't ever want to leave.

How do you explain mission work to those who have never done it? It's exhausting, but so rewarding, so much that you can't wait to get up and do it all over again. It's exciting, but so humbling as you see how so many people sacrifice so much for the lost to receive the Gospel. Mission work hurts because the thought of leaving those whom were learned to love makes us sad. But we look forward to that one day when we will all be together and never have to leave.

Tomorrow is our last day of work and there are some challenges ahead, but we're going to do all we can to share Jesus, and help those in need around us. Keep praying for all involved, and that God may be glorified always!

PS. A big shout-out to brother Jonathan for preaching his full sermon in Spanish! He did such a great job!

What a great and busy day we had. We ate breakfast and headed to the pharmacy to get the medicines needed for our medical mission. Then we went to The San Martin church of Christ building where we will have our campaign. We met with the students, teachers and the directors of the El Salvador School of Preaching, and started planning what our week would look like and we assigned roles. There will be over 23 congregations represented in this Gospel, medical, and glasses giveaway campaign and we hope to make many contacts for evangelism in the area. We finished the night hearing the news of a sister who put on Christ in baptism this evening. To God be the glory! As we reflect on the day, I see that our team is eager to work and everyone has a great disposition. We're so thankful for all our supporters and all the prayers for this campaign. Now, to get ready for bed and be ready to worship God tomorrow.

Getting some fuel (breakfast) before we go and get the medicines for our medical campaign. This is a great team.
