EVERYONE in Waco needs to know this!

This parking lot (old bicycle world) across from Sagrado cocina is not free like it used to be! They will tow you faster than you can get the drink you’ll need to calm your nerves when you find out it’s over $300 to get it out of their yard!  If you happen to see it and run over before they take it, you can pay them $130 but ONLY cash on the spot. (Fishy) If you don’t have cash, it’s going to their yard and it’s $300+! having your car held for ransom in this economy is not the move, so spread the word!

Just to be very clear. This property is not owned by Sagrado. (They have warnings inside the restaurant, and tell customers often about the parking situation.) It is next door at a business that is currently vacant. It is private property, and they have a right to do as they wish with it, including requiring people to pay to park their cars there. This property has not always charged for parking, and many people who don’t realize they added the signs within the last year, could easily miss them. That’s the entire reason for this post. I’ve seen countless cars towed from this parking lot, and each one of them represents someone’s day or night out being ruined. Yes, the tow company has a right to charge what they want for their services, but I also think it’s crazy to have to pay $130 when your car hasn’t even left the parking lot. Is it legal? Yes. Is it ethical? You can decide that. Hopefully this post saves someone a lot of money, time, and frustration!
