Another remarkable wine we’re adding to our exclusive Italian collection. Tenuta Sette Cieli Yantra is a Super Tuscan red wine from Tuscany, Italy, known for its blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, offering a complex yet approachable profile with notes of dark berries, herbs, and spice. Often with a fresh, vibrant character and fine tannins, making it versatile with many MOROSO menu items. The winery uses organic practices, and the wine is aged in French oak barrels, resulting in a balanced and polished Super Tuscan. Come, eat & drink like an Italian!

It is with profound and heartfelt sadness that we post this. Sgt. Devin Seibel was a beloved family/team member at MOROSO. He was from Robinson. Before joining the Army, Devin served at the restaurant. His congenial personality and sweet spirit was a blessing to all of us. He was genuinely one of the nicest young men we had ever known. He had a servant’s heart. When Devin told us that he was leaving to join the Army, we were both proud and sad to see him go. After joining, Devin served in Afghanistan and Iraq. He served our country proudly taking care of wounded warriors in one of the Army’s air ambulance battalions. He received numerous awards, accommodations and promotions. We were always thrilled to see his smiling face whenever he was home and came back to see us and dine with us at the restaurant. This past week, tragically, Devin was killed in Iraq. Words cannot express how sad we are. Our condolences, prayers and thoughts are with Devin’s family. Please lift them in your prayers.

The burger that makes you stop and say; Wow, they nailed it! The hamburger at MOROSO is a lunch game changer, and is fast becoming the most popular item on the lunch menu. We start with the best bread we can get our hands on. So, naturally..it’s a fresh baked, sesame topped sourdough bun. Then, the flavor magic continues between the bun. The star of the show is the Allen Brothers aged beef. You just can’t beat aged beef from a legit beef purveyor that was founded in 1893, in Chicago’s Union Stockyards. Still the best! Now, picture aged white cheddar, crispy pancetta, Cremini mushroom aioli, and fresh Arugula. We serve this glorious tribute to American cuisine with Parmesan fries, and our house Calabrian pickle. It’s perfectly OK if you giggle a bit after your first bite 😎. Lunch at MOROSO TUES-FRI 11AM-2PM.
