The purpose of Baylor Agape Connection:
(1) To enhance the quality of life within the senior-adult population. (2) To facilitate fellowship between students and senior-adults. (3) To educate students, faculty, and local residents on the various aspects of aging. (4) To attain life-wisdom through the cultivation of relationships by participation in our 'Grandfriend' program. (5) To further develop genuine compassion within future doctors and business professionals.
Just a reminder that we're hosting an iPod drive for the elderly! It's going to run this entire week at the SUB. Please donate and ask your friends if they have any old electronics that could be repurposed for others in need. For more information visit musicandmemory.org.
Happy Friday, everyone! Congratulations on making it through two weeks of classes. :)
Since we'll all be rested up with our long weekend; SEPTEMBER 9TH, next Wednesday, will be our GENERAL INTEREST MEETING at 7 PM! Come out to learn more about how you can get involved, and BRING FRIENDS that you think might be interested too! There will also be snacks. Come for snacks.
I will announce the interest meeting location closer to the date, but mark your calendars now!
For those who are interested, there will also be a gerontology luncheon on Washington Ave after out meeting, at 10 PM.
