The Angels are flying again! I want to share with you the story of Elizabeth. Elizabeth has a wonderful family but also had a major void in her heart. She came to me right before the holidays wanting to locate her birth family. Elizabeth was given up for adoption at birth through a Catholic Home in 1970. We have worked several adoption cases from this particular home, they provide all of the paperwork from the adoption process with redactions on anything that will identify the birth family. This one was no different, but we did have a few more clues than we were used to getting. We knew the age of the birthmother and also knew that she had passed away at the age of 46. So off we went ready for this challenge. There's always a way.

Very early in this search, within the first several days we caught a major break. There was enough information about the birthmother's parents and siblings left unredacted that we found a path. It still took some digging but all of a sudden there they were on the computer screen. After verifying a few more facts to identify the family we were sure we had the right people. It was time to make contact. We made contact with a couple members of the birth family and thankfully they were very happy to hear about Elizabeth and excited to speak with her. From there I distributed contact information between everyone and the rest is history! Elizabeth now has her story and contact with her birth family after searching on her own for 15 years.

We are still searching for Elizabeth's birthfather but at least we have made the connection with her birthmother. It's always a joy to help someone connect the dots and get answers. We all deserve to know where we came from. All of us at Guardian Angels are so happy for Elizabeth and her new family and we look forward to finding the last piece of the puzzle.

If you are searching or wanting to search for someone dear to you contact us today for a free consultation. Adoptions, bio parents, long lost friends, relatives, anyone you wish to reconnect with we would love to help. God Bless you all.

Every time we work on a case we take it very seriously. Somebody had put their emotions on the line to find some long lost answers when reconnecting with a relative or friend from the past. I make sure to tell all of them that if they are committed to searching to be prepared for any possible result good or bad. Even a negative result is still positive because it’s an answer. It’s knowledge, something you didn’t have before.

This is Samantha, a wonderful young wife and mother. When she spoke with me she wanted to find her biological father whom she had never met. All she had was a name. Thankfully once I have a name, which tends to be the hardest thing to get sometimes, it makes it more likely that I will be able to locate them and make contact. This case didn’t take long but unfortunately Samantha’s father had recently passed away. After speaking with one of his close relatives there was an overwhelming happiness about this possibility. I immediately put them in contact with Samantha and after some good conversations and a positive DNA test Samantha was off meet her father’s entire family. Aunts, Uncles, cousins and more. They even gave her his truck. Samantha’s life has definitely changed since then and we couldn’t be happier for all of them. We are sorry for her father’s passing but grateful for the rest of his family in accepting Samantha, her daughter and her supportive and loving husband. Best wishes to all of you from all of us at Guardian Angels and thank you for letting me tell your awesome story!

It’s obvious that I don’t post near enough but this is the perfect time to put one up. The hardest part about being a locator is coming to terms that not all cases or stories have a happy ending. This one is not one of those cases. This is my dear friend Penny. Penny came to me 4 years ago with the dream of finding her birthmother and maybe more relatives from her birth parents’ side. Both of her adopted parents had passed on plus she had recently lost her only brother to cancer. To add to her heartache Penny had also gone through a divorce and was starting over with her two boys who were becoming men. Penny was horn in 1968, a time of great secrecy when it came to adoption. Her birthmother was 37 at the time of her birth and had two sons ages 16 and 12. It was time for her to find her beginning and get answers she had waited her whole life for.

When Penny and I first spoke she handed me a stack of paperwork from a Catholic Home in Austin that had all the information needed. Just one problem, all the important things were marked out. Still, I looked at each page over and over again for months which turned into years. I was looking for any clue, anything that was forgotten to be marked out. After taking many trips to the records office and archives office I was able to put together a marriage date and divorce date of her birthmother. Long way to go to narrow it down but it was a path. I eventually turned it over to my awesome partner and investigator Myra who completed the puzzle. We had a name!!! It was Dorothy and our hunch was right as she was from Waco! Bam! That’s all I need!

Unfortunately Dorothy had passed away about 5 years ago but she did leave two sons who are in their 50’s now and luckily both lived in the area. I set out to do what I’m good at, talking to people. I located Tom and he was nice enough to let me into his home to hear about this long lost sister that was looking for him. He and his wife could not have been happier or more receptive to this exciting possibility. Within minutes of showing them a picture of Penny we had her on the phone. Can you imagine how excited, and surprised she was when we called her?! It was an amazing moment. Shortly after that they had their first in person meeting, pictured in this post. Soon she was able to meet her other brother Ray, also pictured. Of course there was a DNA test during this time which came up a perfect match for the siblings. Penny had a family again and she was reborn while a long awaited journey was finally over. She has her answers!

This case was very trying and very challenging. We never gave up! We knew there was a path and an answer. As I stated earlier not all cases have this happy ending but regardless there are answers to be sought. Whether you are an adoptee like Penny, and me or you have a long lost friend or relative out there somewhere don’t wait to week your answers. Send me a message and let me know who you would like to find and reunite with. Let us connect the dots and mend your hearts.

Thank you Penny for allowing us to be a part of your wonderful journey and I hope your first holiday season with your brothers and the rest of your new found family was the best ever!

God Bless You All!

Wow, I didn't realize it has been so long since my last post. I need all prayers right now as I may be close to solving one of the toughest cases I have been blessed to take. This one was supposed to be one of the easiest but an unexpected twist occurred. I found my target person, a birth mother but it turned out to be the wrong birth mother. It was an answer for my client but not the end result we wanted. Instead it was back to square one and through perseverance it may be close to a resolution. This is why I do what I do. Let the angels fly!
