Are you a high school student curious about starting your own business? The Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM) Innovation Hub Small Business Academy offers a 4-day summer experience that will guide you through the steps of launching a small business. You will gain firsthand knowledge of what it takes to turn an idea into a reality through interactive workshops, hands-on challenges, and insights from industry experts.

This program is designed to give you a taste of the entrepreneurial process and prepare you for future business endeavors, all in a fun and supportive environment!

Vista Unified has 16 spaces reserved and will provide priority to students who will be seniors next year.
Applications due by midnight on Friday May 8th 2026.
Small Business Academy Dates: Monday July 27 - Thursday July 30th 2026
Time: 9am - 3pm
Location: Cal State University San Marcos Innovation Hub & Local Industry Sites 288 Campus Way, San Marcos, CA 92078
(Transportation to/from CSUSM will be the responsibility of each family.)

Hello Current 10th and 11th Longhorns!

Have you thought about a career in education? Child Development? Child Care as a career? Lake Elementary will be taking 10 interns next school year. You would attend from 8-10 on Mondays/Tuesdays during period 1. The other period 1 during the week you would not be required to be here.
