The Stanford World Language Project (formerly Bay Area Foreign Language Program) is a site of the CA World Language Project, affiliated with the California Subject Matter Projects. We are dedicated to promoting quality language teaching & learning with year-round programs for all language teachers of any level.

Most of you are already beginning the new school year, and we are certain you are very busy. We hope you will have time to include SWLP in your plans!

Since our programs are authorized by the State and Federal Governments, you may wish to request funds for Common Core professional development, Title I (Disadvantaged Learners), Title II - Part A (Professional Development), or Title III (English Learners). Be absolutely sure to request support from your administration.

We had a wonderful time at CLTA last weekend and a fantastic Day 4 today! Wishing all our best to our very own Ying Jin, the CA TOY, as she leaves this week to represent! We are all so proud of you!!
