"Very early in the morning on the first day of the week, the women went to the tomb, bringing the fragrant spices they had prepared. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in, they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. They didn’t know what to make of this. Suddenly, two men were standing beside them in gleaming bright clothing. The women were frightened and bowed their faces toward the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He isn’t here, but has been raised. Remember what he told you while he was still in Galilee, that the Human One must be handed over to sinners, be crucified, and on the third day rise again.” Then they remembered his words. When they returned from the tomb, they reported all these things to the eleven and all the others." ~Luke 24:1-9

Earlier this year, I shared that I had launched Vision to Purpose Press, a publishing partner for authors ready to bring their message to life.

Today, I am excited to share a special milestone. Our first author, Dr. Samantha Perry, has officially been published.

Her new book, "Women Executives. Owning a Seat at the Table," is a leadership guide grounded in both practical experience and faith, encouraging women to step confidently into the roles they are called to lead.

What makes this even more meaningful is that Dr. Perry is a recent graduate of our very own Regent University School of Business doctoral program. You may have known her as Samantha Calmese.

It is always inspiring to see members of this community take their work beyond the classroom and into impact.

On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out su***de attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
