The Vitamin D Mistake- Most people & medical providers DON’T KNOW THIS… 👀
A 2014 paper titled “A Statistical Error in the Estimation of the Recommended Dietary Allowance for Vitamin D” uncovered something huge. 🌤️ Researchers found that the original method used to set the RDA drastically underestimated how much vitamin D most people ACTUALLY need to achieve healthy blood levels.
That means MILLIONS of people may have been walking around for years thinking they were “getting enough”… while their bodies were running on empty. 😳
Low vitamin D has been linked in research to immune dysfunction, fatigue, mood changes, bone issues, and more — so getting this calculation wrong isn’t a small detail. It’s a public-health-level mistake.
This isn’t about fear - It’s about AWARENESS!
It’s about making sure people get the accurate information they need to advocate for their own health.
✨ If you’ve been tired, run-down, or catching every bug around you… ask your provider to check your levels.
✨ Your body might be asking for more than the outdated numbers ever recommended.
Be your own advocate. Stay curious. Your health is worth double-checking. 💛
