Please join us in congratulating LewisGale Medical Center nurses Carolyne White, Tammy Altice and Brayden Meadows, who were honored with LifeNet Health’s Spark Award. This award recognizes individuals who help ignite hope through organ donation support.

Each year, 50 people in Virginia are selected for making a positive impact on their hospital’s organ donation program. Carolyne, Tammy and Brayden work in the hospital’s Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit and were nominated by multiple transplant coordinators for the compassion and respect they showed while supporting a family and the LifeNet Health team during a meaningful moment of care.

We are proud to recognize these nursing colleagues for demonstrating clinical excellence, teamwork and compassionate care when it mattered most. Congratulations, Carolyne, Tammy and Brayden.
