Help for Veterans We discuss a bill that will empower the Department of Veterans Affairs to pay loan holders to prevent foreclosures on 61,000 American veterans, and create a five-year partial claim program that could benefit up to 3.7 million veterans. The costs of the program are fully offset and will add nothing to the debt.
