Sangria is a tradition dating back hundreds of years and although there are thousands of recipes from around the world, each is as unique as the person who is drinking. The ingredients don't need to be complicated, just delicious. Start with your favorite wine, add complementary juices, one or two liquors and fill it with fruit, fresh or frozen.

The Black Magic Sangria is mysterious blend of red wine, orange liquor, black rum, cranberry and pomegranate juices and simple syrup.

For this tantalizing concoction, we chose Bogle Phantom Red Blend Wine for its intense berry notes and subtle spice. This red blend wine has a higher alcohol content than most red wines and its blend of Petite Syrah, Zinfandel and Mourvèdre grapes provides a almost trance like feeling.

Orange Liquor, Kraken Black Rum, Simple Syrup, Cranberry Juice, and Pomegranate Juice complement the dark notes of the Phantom wine.

A fresh mix of Black Plums, Blackberries, Raspberries and Blueberries finish this haunting blend.
