Ombudsmen maintain current resource files with information on military and civilian community agencies that can help families solve a variety of problems, and successfully meet the challenges they face before, during, and after deployments. Ombudsmen can also assist families in contacting the Command for a variety of reasons.Navy Family Ombudsman are Confidential except for the following issues that are required to be reported to the proper authorities:(a) All suspected child abuse and neglect,(b) Alleged domestic abuse,(c) Suspected and or potential homicides, violence, or lifeendangering situations,(d) All suspected and or potential suicidal risks,(e) All alleged sexual assaults,(f) Other issues identified by the Commanding Officer as reportable.If there is anything that I can do for you or your family please feel free to reach out anytime!
