So many people fail to even try. They fail to go after their goals and dreams because of things like fear or doubt. Some are just plain lazy.

They might as well be trying to fail.

Don't be one of those people.

Why do people become so addicted to a fitness lifestyle?

Although they are satisfying perks, the answer does not lie alone within appearance and health benefits.

The simple answer is: Frequent Progress

There are not many things in our lives where progress can be measured and attained regularly. Let's take your job for instance. The average person might see a raise once a year or a promotion every few years... that is a lot of work and time committed to rarely be able to measure individual progress. Yet, we still do it because it is satisfying to be rewarded and make that progress.

So let's take that accomplished feeling of getting that promotion and tie it into fitness. Regardless of your preference or style of working out, progress can be measured in most areas by either strength, time, or appearance. Believe it or not, you can notice significant progress in any of those categories within months, weeks, and even daily so long as you are consistent.

Just imagine that, making progress and crushing goals on a regular basis. That's pretty satisfying and addicting stuff there.

It also makes sense why so many people give up on their fitness journey early on. Most likely because they initially made very little progress due to a few factors but deemed it was no longer worth it.
(Be patient. It still takes time)

People are addicted to progress, and there aren't many areas in life that can be measured frequently outside of fitness related goals.

Fitness gives us something to work towards and make progress in. FREQUENTLY, rewarding ourselves with the satisfying feeling of accomplishing goals.

So remember that if you were thinking about starting a fitness journey or just needed a good reminder to keep going!
