We got the painful news that our 16 year old dacshund is nearing the end of his life. I’m grateful I still have time to make sure he knows how much we love him and appreciate him. That being said, I am going to take the next few days to focus on supporting my kiddos, addressing care plans for the time he has remaining with his vet team, loving him and gathering myself emotionally. I will not be going out on any calls for livestock testing services for the next few days. I appreciate all of my clients endlessly for trusting us and in turn for helping to support our farm and I further appreciate your understanding. If farm life has taught me anything it’s that devastation can happen in the blink of an eye with no warning and I am incredibly grateful to be given the time to make sure he knows how much we love and appreciate him.
