If I had to reflect, one of my favorite lessons from this year was to stay true to yourself and tune out the noise. It’s a bit ironic coming from me—a social media influencer whose life is so influenced by the noise and the algorithm—but this year, I made a small change: I started uninstalling Instagram every weekend. It’s improved my quality of life tremendously.

At first, I was thinking about doing one of those aesthetic roundups of all the accomplishments of 2024. But honestly, the greatest highlight wasn’t the parties, the partnerships, or the travels. It was getting the shelter population down to under 100 dogs. Saving lives just surpasses everything else.

These past two weeks especially have made me reflect on why I started this Instagram in the first place. Sometimes it feels like influencers miss the plot—forgetting it’s about community and purpose. I hope we can continue on this journey together, saving lives and making a difference in 2025.
