Watching a loved one with dementia decline is one of the most heartbreaking experiences a family can face. And one of the most common questions we hear is: "How will we know when it's time?"
Signs that hospice may be appropriate for a loved one with dementia:
-Significant weight loss or difficulty swallowing
-Recurrent infections such as pneumonia or UTIs
-Becoming mostly bedbound or nonverbal
-No longer recognizing close family members
-Increasing pain or agitation that's hard to manage
Hospice doesn't mean giving up on your loved one - it means giving them the gift of comfort.
We're here to talk it through. No pressure. No rush.

If Only I'd Had This Caregiving Book by Maya Hennessey
That's what so many caregivers say - after the hard days, after the sleepless nights, after wondering if they were doing enough.
We found a book that speaks directly to the heart of caregiving, and we think it's worth sharing. Because the right words at the right time can change everything.
