Grease is one of the biggest problems for sewers and sewer pumps, and can lead to clogs or overflows. Fortunately, there’s sewer solvent, which can quickly break down grease, rags, and more. Pumping specialists are experts at using solvent correctly to keep everything flowing smoothly.
With a multiple pumping system in place for a municipal pumping station, your community will be able to put more pumps into use if there is an increase in flow rate. For stations that handle commercial structures, cycling can be adjusted based on daily usage patterns.
When the drainage bed is higher than the septic system, an effluent pump is needed to lift and move the liquids. Though the liquid is clear and devoid of solid materials, sump pumps are not durable enough to substitute for a septic effluent pump.
So what is a grinder sewage pump? These pumps feature an impeller made of blades that is able to cut up or grind the sewage being passed through. In contrast, solids handling pumps simply pass the solids through mostly intact.
