Today, we celebrate our faithful Director, Jennifer Burriss, as she begins a well-earned retirement.

Jennifer has faithfully served as the Director of Methodist Day School for 17 years, dedicating herself to the ministry of early childhood education. Her commitment to our school and the many children and families who have walked through our doors has been an important part of Methodist Day School's story.

Jennifer, thank you for your 21 years of dedication to our school and ministry. You have left behind a lasting legacy and some very big shoes to fill. We are grateful for the care and commitment you have shown throughout your years of service.

As you begin this new chapter, we pray God blesses you with joy, rest, and many wonderful memories. Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for all you have done for Methodist Day School!

Our preschool program is expanding for the 2026–2027 school year, and we’re hiring caring, compassionate classroom teachers and classroom aides to join our MDS family.

Hours:
• Classroom Teachers: 8:00am–12:00pm
• Classroom Aides: 8:00am–12:00pm, 7:00am–12:00pm, or 11:00am–5:30pm

Apply in person: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–12:30pm
